bed bug control bedbug infestation treatment preparation kill egg bite feeding eat party song

silica crystal gel cat litter makes a cheap powder to kill bedbugs. You don’t need anything else. Bedbugs are easy to kill because they MUST come to your bed in order to develop and reproduce. This powder is the dirt cheapest way to kill them. Silica gel is the main ingredient of Drione. You don’t need anything except the silica gel cat litter ground to a fine fine powder. It sticks to the bed bugs and dries them up. Don’t be fooled by anyone else. You can buy a bag of silica gel cat litter, powder it and scatter it mainly on and around the bed and mattress. A bag of silica gel cat litter can treat a whole apartment building for about $15 Can. You don’t need to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars for pesticides or an exterminator. You can however mix the silica gel powder you make with pesticides to get a better effect. I prefer propoxur because it has a residual effect for about a month. Pyrethrins break down in air in a couple of days. Powdered silica gel also kills roaches and many other insects. To test silica gel get one of those little packets of dessicant that says “throw away, don’t eat”. Crush it to a fine powder and put it in a container with a couple of bedbugs and they will be dead in a couple of hours(be sure some powder is on the bedbugs.) The silica gel in the packet is the same stuff as the silica gel cat litter. Don’t be deceived. Don’t tear apart your bedroom they will come to your bed. DON’T bother laundering everything or vacuuming. Don’t waste your time. They will hunt YOU down. Let them come to YOU. You will NEVER find them all anyway. They have to feed on blood to become adults. Focus on treating the bed areas. Bedbugs will suck your blood while you sit in front of your computer, day or night. They have bitten my feet.

Silica gel powder can also be used to dry flowers.

Bed Bug Dog: Cheaper Alternative: Use Powder dream sleep easy tonight rest in peace in dark room

Posted by: admin  :  Category: cat litter furniture

Forget the dog. Bedbugs stink but they sniff YOU out. They sense your carbon dioxide and heat. The dog is not the only one with the keen senses. The bedbugs are also giving each other high fives and doing victory dances of delight because the know very few of you people can afford to do the dog thing. Don’t spend so much time or money when you know full well that they WILL find YOU and stealthily suck your blood like a vampire. Who the heck can afford to pay for the dog service. You are not going to kill the bedbugs in their hiding places anyway. Even Fido can’t get into every nook and cranny in your whole house or building. Besides the only people who use dog services are people with wallets the size of Hummers and burn money in their fireplace because they can’t spend it fast enough to deplete it before they croak. If you compare prices when shopping then you can’t afford dog services.)
They hide EVERYWHERE. You could not treat EACH AND EVERY one of their hiding spots let alone find the hiding spots. Just ume the darn things are anywhere and everywhere (and they are, trust me.) It makes sense to treat the one place they must head for every few nights. Bedbugs suck your blood and then hide for a couple of days to digest your lifeblood. Then they return for more. Don’t bother trying to find them. Only fools and idiots hunt THEM down. Give yourself a break and let the darned intruding bedbugs do the work. You can live without them but they can’t survive without finding you or your beloved Fifi or Rover or Tabby or Tiger or whatever adorable name your wonderful pet has and sucking your blood, man or animal. Blood is blood. They may be hiding by your front door. I have seen them all over our house. It is enough to treat ONLY your bed area with the dusts and powders in this video. YOU are the destination for the bedbugs. Just create a dust barrier that the bedbugs MUST pass through. However dust your whole upstairs area; baseboards, closets, under and on solid furniture, at edges rather out in the open where you walk. Don’t be too skimpy with the powder. Cats and fish are the ones who are going to help you as you see in the video.
Silica gel cat litter crushed to a fine, fine powder will kill bedbugs. You have to crush the silica gel yourself. (You have to make a FINE powder. I used a small ceramic bowl inside a larger ceramic bowl to improvise a mortar and pestle.) No need to tear apart your home. The bedbugs will come to your bed to feed on the only food they need to develop; blood. Just sprinkle the powdered silica gel cat litter all over your bed edges(it is non-toxic), around the bottom edges of furniture and around the baseboards of your bedroom . The silica gel will stick to the bedbugs and dehydrate them. The bedbugs feed every few days and will hunt you down. They will come to you. There is no need to waste your time searching for them. We exterminated the bedbugs in our house in only two weeks. You won’t find them all anyway so why waste the time looking.
You can also use cement, diatom filter powder for aquariums and silica gel in those small packets.
Deltadust has quartz(3%) as an active ingredient.(check Bayer MSDS) Quartz is basically SAND. The deltamethrin in deltadust breaks down in air after a few days and then the only thing left to do the work is the quartz. Quartz is silicon dioxide. Silica gel cat litter is silicon dioxide and it is easier to crush to a powder than sand. Drione contains powdered silicon dioxide. The pyrethrins in drione also break down after a couple of days and then only the silica gel powder is left to do the work. kills roaches too
Silica gel powder can also be used to dry flowers.
